Eye-Fi CF card

Postby kderevan » Tue Sep 01, 2009 4:37 pm

Probably been asked before, but couldn't find with a search. I'd love to have an Eye-Fi CF card.

Me too! Everyone says that they work in a CF card adapter, but I have tried two different adapters and none will fit into my Nikon D700 - they're all too thick and will not go into the camera.

They did fit into my Nikon D70, but the range was horrible. I couldn't be more than 20 feet away from my wireless router.

I can't believe they make this in just one card format!! Imagine if Lexmark and the others just made one kind of card - how silly would that be?

Eye-Fi - please get on board already and make other formats! I'm sure Sony users would love a memory stick version!

That is the exact one that I have and it is too thick to fit into the CF slot of my D700. I bought that adapter at least 6 months ago - lol

I tried that too, and the SD card sticks out the side and then door can't close on the camera.

Minolta SD-CF1 --> only sd cards up to 512 MB
Panasonic BN-SDCF1E --> wikipedia only in German http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/CompactFlash

Well, let's see if they really care and create a CF card version for us!
