FTP without folders

It would be useful if there was an option to FTP straight to the FTP address without creating a new folder. With the current setup I am forded to have EyeFi create a folder. Although there are options to control the folder name I am not able to send without the folder creation. This causes problems with many of the systems I work with. An option to transmit without folder creation would be invaluable.

Simply provide a URL without any path components (e.g. ftp://ftp.mydomain.com/) in the "Select Web Sharing" dialog while adding your FTP server and in the advanced options (which are revealed by clicking on the "Show advanced option" link in the lower-left of the dialog), select "Custom text" in the "Album name" drop-down list and blank out the text contents of the following field.
