Skydrive Integration and Windows Phone 7

Now with the biggest manufacturer (the company name is not allowed here what a spell checker-great) on the mobile plannet switching to WP7 a huge opportunity, support that desire as well with app for WP7 and sky drive!

I love the idea of Eye-Fi uploading to the unlimited storage of Skydrive! Also a Windows Phone App is really needed, especially now with the great Lumia 710/800/900 coming. Great phones, but if Eye-Fi is not supporting them, I won't get a Eye-Fi card.

Another +1 for SkyDrive - especially given the new release of the desktop syncing update (which was the reason I've just searched for this thread).

I've been a big fan of Eye-Fi since I saw the early concept designs were blogged about. I've had one now for a year or two but don't use it enough because the software is a little clunky and doesn't really fit with what I want to do a lot of the time. If it could automatically upload to a folder on SkyDrive that would just be awesome for me as this folder would then sync to my Windows phone, multiple PCs (home, work etc), my iPad, etc.

I also read previous posts regarding issues with the API, however I believe these are all more open now. Overview of the API is here - (as a new user, I couldn't include a link, Google for "SkyDrive APIs for Docs and Photos—now ready to cloud enable apps on Windows 8, Windows Phone and more") - and it appears that when that was written (Dec 2011) they added full support for SkyDrive and Photos (I've not read in detail, but perhaps your developers could take a look?). Furthermore, Windows 8 will be heavily integrated into these cloud services, so it may be worth getting on board in advance of that all kicking off.

Really hope to see some progress if possible

I love this product, but are we ever going to see integration with either Windows Phone 7.5, 7.8, Windows Phone 8, or SkyDrive? Come on Eye-Fi!

please please Eye-Fi team. Skydrive support is really a selling point. Or for now a NOT selling point!
A few years ago you had skydrive support. Due to API restrictions it was removed. Now the skydrive API is public. Please add the photo uploading for SKYDRIVE!!
Skydrive is taking market share more and more.

We had this exact forum post a long time ago , and NO response from Eye-FI .....

If a Phone 7 App is needed i can write one. Just give me the Eye-Fi API docs and i will try make a prototype.

Love the product but you will loose me at the end... ;-(

Skydrive and Windows Phone support, both WP7 and WP8, would be great. And while doing a WP8 app, might as well swing it for Win8 (An app, not just the desktop application of course). Or maybe do it the other way around? Win8 app, then convert to a WP8 app

FYI: SkyDrive is now available on the Xbox 360, which opens up some nice use cases.

Note that they point out that this means you can get almost instant viewing of pictures you take on a Windows Phone on the TV. With Eye-Fi support that would work with my "proper" camera, as well.
