PlayBook users are now unofficially using Eye Fi

The BlackBerry PlayBook now has android app support after 2.0 update. Eye Fi developers please take note ! Making an official Eye Fi app should be fairly simple as all it requires is converting a .apk file into a bar file to run inside the PlayBook's android emulator. The Eye Fi app is already being unofficially sideloaded and reported to work. It would be fantastic to see an official Eye Fi app! There is already one for the Kindle Fire. The PlayBook far out specs the Kindle Fire 1GB of RAM vs 512 MB, Up to 64GB internal storage, plus more powerful processing for cloud access vs 8 GB max and relatively weak processing. The list goes on. Eye Fi is now getting some competition. I really Love my Eye Fi card and would love to be able to use it with my PlayBook. I already have an iPad 2 and find it large, cumbersome and awkward for many photo shoots in the field. This is what inspired me to buy the PlayBook. I compared it to the Kindle Fire and found it to be a much better device, a fully functioning tablet vs an intentionally incapacitated media purchasing tool from Amazon. I really think official support from Eye Fi would be greatly appreciated and help Eye Fi maintain it's dominant position in the market.

Thank you,

Apelles,

I have been an Eye Fi customer from the beginning and continue to buy Eye Fi cards with each product advance
