Says transfer is complete on videos, but they never show iOS

Postby jukie1 » Wed Jul 27, 2011 7:16 pm

Hello, I have my eye-Fi card set up to transfer photos and videos to my iPhone. Photos transfer fine, and videos transfer, at least I see the progress bar and it says "transfer complete," but the videos are not present on my phone. Previously this worked. How can I get it working again?

I also have this issue - the videos uploaded, but none are visible in the iOS app. To compound my problems, my card then corrupted, so unless I get these videos off the iPad, they are lost :(

Did you ever find a resolution? Eye-Fi...any suggestions?

Thanks

Same problem here.
Ipad1 last ios version.
The video file correctly imported in direct mode but after that no video are shown in eyefi app.
Have you found a solution for that?
I've read in other posts that apple not supports some video file but these files are not imported.
Our video, instead are imported, so they are supported by apple, isn't it.
I'm a bit confused ...

Runing the latest iOS 6.0.1; on my iPhone 4S; I have watched the video upload to the iPhone in direct mode.

It all seems well, till i plug the iPhone into the computer and notice the video is missing.

When i look in the photo album, there are no videos! Crap so much for the Christmas video at church, gone!

I took the camera home tried a two send video, same thing.

So in direct mode, don't let you Eye-Fi card uplaod vides in direct mode. They will disappear!

Actually the issue isn't with Direct Mode, it can happen over wi-fi also. Unfortunately iOS is rejecting the videos shot by your camera and won't let us save them.

Apple tends to be particular about which combination of codecs, format, and dimensions it will allow third-party (non-Apple) apps like ours to save. The Eye-Fi card and software have no problem with the videos, we will upload any photo or video with an Eye-Fi compatible filename.
Please visit this thread viewtopic.php?f=17&t=6129 for some discussion about it.

Try shooting lower resolution to see if iOS will accept the file. If you're shooting .MTS, iOS doesn't currently support that at all (as far as we know) so please switch to another format if your camera supports it.

Sorry there's no fix for this but I hope the information is useful.
