Trying to get to first base...

Got an Eye-fi ProX2 card for my birthday. Trying to make it work.
Plugged it into my Mac and installed the software. When it came to updating the firmware it crashed. So I never saw steps 6 and after from these instructions: http://support.eye.fi/cards/start/setup-eye-fi-card/
I tried to reinstall the software but it makes no difference. In the Eye-fi center I can see the memory card but I cannot see the photos that are on it nor can I connect to my home wi-fi network....
Any idea on how I can make this card usable?

If you're still having trouble setting up the card, here are the two important steps to complete in order to upload over wi-fi to your computer.
Enable uploads to the computer: http://support.eye.fi/cards/media/save-to-computer/
Add network: http://support.eye.fi/cards/networks/ho ... e-fi-card/
