Date a movie was shot is replaced with date movie uploaded

When I have the Eye-FI center pick up the movies from my camera, it imports the date the movie was taken wrong. It takes as date/time created the date/time that the movie was uploaded onto my computer by the card. When I insert the eye-fi card into my cardreader, the movies are imported with correct date/time. Unfortunately this makes importing movies completely rubbish. Both iphoto and the eye-fi center show the wrong date for the movies.

Can anybody help?

Camera: Casio Exilim z300
Card: Eye-FI Geo X2
Software: Eye-fi center 3.1.9 for MacOSX, iphoto '09
OS: Snow leopard 10.6.4
H/W: MBP 17 inch

Are you still waiting for an answer ? I have a similar problem, and I hope you found a solution or got any other kind of hint...

I talked to support about it, I think I even filed an issue about it but nothing came out of that. I still have the same issue unfortunately. I resorted to importing the movies manually.
