Eye-Fi Language problem

Postby Judgenot » Mon Aug 29, 2011 1:25 pm

Good day all,
As some of my fellow customer in Quebec, Canada, we speak, day to day, in french, but uses our software in english (for convenience, translation problems, etc).
Sure enough, when I tried to install the Eye-Fi center on my corporate lapto (which by law, is configured in french) the whole Eye-Fi setup became french: Eye-Fi center on my desktop and the Eye-Fi Center on the web. I don't want that. I want to have my installation totally in english. How do I get this fixed?

Thanks in advance,
Alex, proud new user of Eye-Fi; an outstanding product!

C:\Program Files\Eye-Fi\Center\Resources\locale\locale.js
Load it into wordpad.
Change
locale = "fr-ca";
to
locale = "en-us";

This is my guess. You might also need to change locale = "fr-fr" to en-us.

This worked for me with Japanese localized PC.
