Eye-Fi Pro X2 card wont connect to my PC via the direct mode

Postby olympicwiz » Wed Jun 13, 2012 3:09 am

My apologies in advance as I am sure this topic would have been covered before but I could not find a solution by searching this forum.

I have Eye-Fi Pro X2 and Win 7 running AVG antivirus with the firewall eanbled to allow Eye-Fi helper.

All works well until I insert the card into my D80 Camera and then I can not find the Eye-fi card network. I took a few snaps just to try to activate the signal but no use.

When I insert the card into my PC it connects fine.

I followed the Support page closely and even reset and reinstall all the software but still no joy.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am close to just eBay it...

Many thanks in advance.

PS

Actually, how does one check if the card is actually working when inserted into a camera. I have Nikon D80 which should work but I have not been able to transfer photos in either direct or otherwise.

check here http://support.eye.fi/cameras/nikon/d80 and

here http://support.eye.fi/cards/how/optimiz ... -settings/

this information may help also try to post a card log You'll need to, after trying some more uploads, please connect your card to a PC running Eye-Fi Center if possible, click the Eye-Fi Helper icon, choose "Get Eye-Fi Card log", save the log to your HD and post here and one of the eyefi'ers will be around to take a look at it for you and give you some pointers
