If you're still having the same issue, please restart your Mac and connect the card again, by connecting the card to the Eye-Fi reader, direct to your iMac's USB port (and not a USB hub or keyboard). After the "Found Eye-Fi card" / "Initializing Eye-Fi Card" message, there should be one more, "Found Eye-Fi Card" / "Click here to open Eye-Fi Center". If you receive the "Failed to initialize" message, it sounds like something went wrong, and here are some more steps you can try.http://support.eye.fi/software/problem/ ... nitialize/
If the card seems to initialize but Eye-Fi Center still says the card isn't plugged in, please make sure that both Eye-Fi Helper and Eye-Fi Center are version 3.4. Click the Eye-Fi Helper icon in your menu bar, and the Eye-Fi Center menu at the top left of your screen, and choose About.
