Eye-Fi Pro X2 and live view

Using the direct connect mode on the Pro X2 eye fi card, Is it possible to select "live view" on my Canon 5D Mark III and view the same scene on my iPad prior to snapping an image? If so, what settings do I make?

Sorry, but the Eye-Fi card can only send photos or videos to your iPad after they have been shot and saved to the card.
