nsing, apologies for the delayed reply. Can you post your card log here so I can take a look at your card?

1. Insert your Eye-Fi card into your camera
2. Take 5 pictures
3. Wait 5 minutes to give the photos a chance to upload
4. Remove the card from your camera *
5. Insert the Eye-Fi card into the USB card reader and into your computer
6. Click on the Eye-Fi Helper icon in the Apple Menu Bar or in the Windows Task Bar
7. Select "Get Eye-Fi card Log..." from the menu. You may have to wait several seconds, but, in a moment, you will be asked where to save the Eye-Fi card log file
8. Save the Eye-Fi card.log file to your computer hard drive and reply to this forum thread with your log file attached

I'm a different poster, but I just successfully updated FW on my 8GB Pro X2 from 5.0007 to 5.0008. Previously, my Eye-Fi card didn't even "see" the latest FW version as being available, so I wasn't able to update. I saw this thread and tried again and it worked. Though I wasn't one of the previous posters, I wanted to provide some feedback.

Thanks for the update. Looks like there is a small range of cards that were not flagged for the 5.0008 update. Sorry that yours was affected, the problem should be resolved both now and in the future as well.

dragonwhite,

I went and confirmed your firmware eligibility. Looks like you are signed up for the beta program and are ready for 5.1002. You should not have a problem upgrading to that version. Please open Eye-Fi Center and try updating again.

Must not yet have a firmware update. Raise the log file again. :? :? :?
Did not know you raise the eye-fi Center log files.

5.0009 is not currently available to all customers, only new registrations. It will be released to all customers very soon, however, so just hang in there. =)

Hi marko,

If your cards aren't recognized by the Eye-Fi software under Mountain Lion, please click the Eye-Fi Helper icon, choose About and make sure you are running 3.4.29 or above. If not, please quit Helper, delete the /Applications/Eye-Fi folder, empty your Trash, and install the latest update from our site.
http://support.eye.fi/software/start/ey ... -download/

To launch the Eye-Fi.mpkg installer, right-click/Control-click and choose Open. For more info: http://support.eye.fi/software/start/in ... os-x-10-8/

I hope this helps! Our cards should always be recognized by Eye-Fi Helper no matter what firmware they are running.

I can confirm I am in fact running 3.4.29. I even re-installed the app. Even so the card does not show an update to firmware is available and still does not work with mountain lion.

Sorry for any confusion, marko. There was no update released for 5.0007 cards to give them 5.0008. From what we've been told, it was a very minor update that did not affect the card's functionality at all. As Dan mentioned, the 5.0009 update has not been released to all users yet. If you are having any problems with the card and would like to try the new firmware, you can deactivate the Eye-Fi card in Eye-Fi Center, unplug the card, then connect it again and re-activate it. You should be prompted to update to 5.0009.

If you still have any trouble with your card after that point, please contact us and describe the problem so we can help. There are no particular issues on Mountain Lion that we're aware of, as long as you have Eye-Fi Helper 3.4.29 and above.

Thanks!
