Facebook: Posting to business pages?

Postby ZackTM » Tue Nov 24, 2009 3:50 pm

I want my EyeFi card to post to my businesses page instead of my personal photos, is there any way to do that? Facebook confuses me about this, they don't want businesses to create separate user accounts but don't give us many tools for our business pages.

I'm having the same issue and would like to post to our fan page. In the meantime I have started to use myFlickr and use eye-fi to post to Flickr and then myFlickr to post to facebook. It'f far from ideal but it is working itn the interim - it posts a status update to your fan page and says you have uploaded x pictures to flickr and gives the link.

No luck on this front. I called EyeFi support; got escalated...they claim some issue on FB permissions side. I would love this feature too. :(

hey! a couple of hundred more apps are there! via those you can transform your facebook page into a interactive web page!
i mean used FBML (Facebook Markup Language) app for customized HTML! i hope it can do wonders for you! as it did for me!

Pixelpipe seems to be able to send photos to your business page via an email path that Facebook allows. I haven't tried this personally, so I can't vouch for it. Instructions on using Pixelpipe with Eye-Fi are on their blog:

What I suggest, haven't tried it yet but strong possibility, that there are apps like fbml or alike that could work with eyefi. Have you tried yet? Guys, do share your experiences.

I tried FBML, it works like a charm. Try googling it, it is really easy to set up it.

The beta version of the Eye-Fi Center software supports automatic posting to business Pages. You will need to be an admin of the page. Also make sure that you "like" the Page.

Download now

Is there a verdict on posting to Facebook pages?

I am looking to buy a product that can perform the following & if there are none, then maybe we will have to develop it...

Here's a synopsis:
-take a photo
-have eye-fi upload to a Facebook Fan Page (we would have administrator access to the page)
but, here's the kicker... there would be a LOT of photos being uploaded & we want fans to be able to find their photos quickly, so we would like to
-be able to create / choose a folder to push to based on date / time
example might be for 3/2/2012 - Album "X" houses pics taken that day between noon - 2pm, Album "Y" houses pics taken that day between 2pm - 4pm

make sense?

any input would be appreciated!

Seems it won't let us normal people download the beta, it says you aren't authorized to read this forum.
