Nikon Vs EyeFi

Postby eyefifo » Mon Jan 09, 2012 4:39 pm

Hello all,

New to Eyefi but very happy with the product, especially when using with ios.

A question that I hope somebody can help with please,

I have the option ' selected photo's' uploaded selected which when on the Nikon when you ' lock ' the pics it uploads them to your chose device.
All working fine with the pics going as asked to the relevant device.

So as the pics are locked, when changing to another device eg to also upload the pics to the PC as well as the IOS device do you have to unlock the pic and lock them again to 'instruct' eyefi to re upload them?

Is it the case that once the pics have been uploaded to one device they will not be sent to another?

Apologies for the poor explanation!

currently they only allow uploading to one device and one online service.

I think they need to change this so that we can send our pictures to multiple locations.

not strictly correct mike you would need to send pics to the ios or android device first and then have the ios/android device forward the pictures to the pc / mac, and im fairly sure you can upload to more than one online destination although not automaticaly just drag and drop the photo's in eyefi centre to the bar at the bottom and you should get a dialog box asking wich online share service you wish to use (these need to be set up already ofc).

I also like Eyefi with ios and Nikon is the best. The Nikon D90 will include an Eye-Fi menu that allows users to turn the wireless function on or off.
