Eye-Fi server on mobile with FTP

Hi all. This is question or request for Eye-fi makers.

Why I did bought Eye-fi X2 Pro card?
To send photos via wireless connection to my laptop from my camera while I am shooting and then quickly transfer them over 3G connection via FTP.
But, again I have to check my laptop and then send photos via ftp manually.

OK. That is no problem.
Is there possibility to include ftp client in Eye-fi software to allow me to send photos automaticly. My idea is to take the photo, press lock on my camera, in few seconds emerges on my laptop and then, automaticly gets ftp-ed to my desired location.

Also, I would like to see that in mobile version, so I do not need to turn on my laptop computer. It is much faster to have eye-fi server with ftp on my phone.
Is that possible with 3-rd party software?

Hi,

I didn't fully understand what you're trying to do, but I'll still try to answer. Correct me if my understanding is totally off:

You can find auto FTP clients that will watch a folder on a device (PC or Android, iPhone, etc...), and then, as images come into the watched folder, they will get FTP'd or sercure FTP'd, out.

These exist for many platforms.

Yes, I would like to send photos automaticly to desired ftp site.
I did connect my eye-fi card via ad hoc connection to my laptop. I can have watched folder and as photos come in that folder the will be sent out to ftp site via 3G connection. Can this be done in eye-fi software?
Is there any possibility to apply all this to some cell phone device (Android, Symbian... ??). That way I will not need to boot my laptop and carry it around while am picturing, while I can do that on cell phone or Android device in my pocket.

Yes, it can be done. I'm only familiar with the Android product:

* You could root your Android device, or go for a device that has the Wi-Fi hotspot feature. Up to you.
* search for "ftp" in the Android market, and find an auto-ftp uploader
* search for eye-fi in he Android market, and install the Leshak Eye-Fi server
* experiment

You could just set you Eye-Fi card's online destination = your FTP server, and then use your android device (or other) as a router. No need for android ftp software etc.

Can you explain that for me?
I have Nokia E52 with Symbian.
Which software?
I did made my phone a router with Joiku Spot free, but just how to connect to FTP server??? I am not sure I understand.
I can not connect my Eye-fi card with E52 as router.

I do not understand the mater or logic of that.
