Help with issues related to the Eye-Fi Manager

Update to 4.2172 failed

Hello,

I tried to take a look at the "direct mode" in the new Eye-Fi mamager. My Pro X2 card was inserted in the USB port.
The manager stated that I needed to update the firmware, which I tried. But almost directly there was an error-message that the firmware-update failed. No further information.
I noticed that the current and the update-firmware both were 4.2172 :!: See the screenshot included.
I would really want to try the direct-mode, anyone has a clue?

Exactly the same thing happening for me.

Think we will have to wait until the new firmware is on the servers, not sure why they didn't release it all in one go..

The iPhone/Pad app still not there til later this week either apparently.

Same here -- and I'm on a time crunch. Eye-Fi staff promised me this update (and the app) would be available this week (well, last week, now). I have to have it up and running before Thursday, or I have to go pay Apple $50 for an adapter prior to leaving on a week-long trip. I hope they can live up to that promise!

Pro X2 Card in the US; same problem here. Can't get past the 4.2172 failed message too.
Filed a support document today - still no answer

Folks, Direct Mode is supported in 4.5021 or later. The message you are seeing indicates that your card has not yet been tagged for this update, even though this is not made clear by the dialog box. The update is currently only available to new card registrations.

If you are under a time crunch, and don't have any critical state associated with the Eye-Fi card in your account (e.g. content stored in your Eye-Fi View), you can unregister the card (right click on the card icon in Eye-Fi Center to find this option) and re-register it to get the update.

Same here... Have a Pro X2 with Vista 64-bit. Update failed. :-(
So excited to start using this feature too..

Well, thanks for that suggestion. My card is now updated. Now I just need a compatible iOS app...
