How do I delete pics/vids from iPad Eye-Fi App?

I've got the new eye-fi app for iOS that lets the eye-fi card upload to the iPad, and it works great. My problem is that there seems to be no way to delete the photos/vids uploaded to the iPad from it. Eventually, I'll run out of room. Anyone figure out how to delete photos/vids from an iPad/iPhone?

you go to the iOS photo viewer app (the one that looks like a sunflower) and there you can delete pictures and videos. I'm not sure if you can do it in the eye-fi app, but you can do it in the actual photo viewer app.

Thanks, I just figured that out. They went to my camera roll, and deleting them from there also removed them from the iOS app window.

But why does EyeFi take up 11gb on my iPad but my photos only take 7gb - also is this double counting?

I was showing 6.5 gb of data in the eye-fi app with 5.5 free on the iPad. I removed the app and got 12 gb of free memory. Reinstalled the app, all images from Photos were shown in the app again, but the app no longer shows as consuming 6.5 gb of data in Settings | Usage and I still show 12 gb free memory.

While still in "Direct Mode" (using the iPad tethered to the Eye-Fi card), I cannot delete photos even using the iOS photo viewer app (the one that looks like a sunflower)? The only way I can do it is if I change my wifi connection away from the Eye-Fi card (to another wifi), then I can delete them normally. Then to re-establish the Direct Mode connection to the Eye-Fi card again is a pain. What am I doing wrong? Has anyone else experienced this?

Can you explain how you are unable to delete the photos using the iOS photos app (as in, can you describe the failure in more detail or tell us if you're getting an error)? The built-in photos app has nothing to do with the Internet (assuming you're not using Apple's Photo Stream feature) and Eye-Fi app has no control over its ability to delete photos, so I can't imagine a scenario whereby deleting photos is inhibited, but that could well be a failure of my imagination...

We've tried to recreate what we think you're trying to describe here, on two different iPads, with either a Direct Mode network connection or no Internet connection and have been unable to observe what you're describing. The "waste bin" icon you're referring to must be the one that's at the upper-right of the screen when looking at a single photo (as opposed to the thumbnails view), and we observe it to be present and operational persistently.

Out of curiosity, when this happens on your iPad, if you go to the thumbnails view of the photos app (instead of single photos) and tap the "more actions" icon (the curved arrow at the upper-right), are you presented with the option to multi-select and delete items? Could you please post what iPad model and OS version you're running, and whether you have Photo Stream enabled or not?
