Google finally launched their social platform (Google+) to compete with Twitter and Facebook and one thing you'll notice right off is it is very photograph friendly, displaying images much better that any rivals. Photographers are joining in high numbers making for a nice community, some have already developed huge followings. https://plus.google.com/
There is a complimentary Android app, (iPhone coming) that is very nice. It allows me to access photos uploaded from my Eye-Fi card to my Android phone and then post them directly into the service. While still beta, it's pretty slick.
Google+ is still invite only for the time being but with 10 million people using the service, invitations are easy to come by and anyone here is free to ping me for one, I'd just need an e-mail address to send it to.
Been a dedicated Flickr user but Google+ is so nice that my default upload site is now Picasa (soon to be re-branded Google Photos I believe)
Hope to see you there!
