Feature Request: Resize before uploading

I'd like to request a feature, please.
I'd like the option to resize photos before uploading them from the app.
e.g. a 6MB jpeg goes from my camera to my droid, which resizes it and sends, say, a 1MB jpeg to eye-fi's servers.

Also, this is a bug for me but probably a feature for those who use their droids as a preview display, but:
When a new photo is taken in Direct Mode, it starts that transfer immediately and breaks any uploads which are in progress. This is really annoying especially with, for example, large photos being uploaded on a slow 3G connection.
