Kindle Fire Compatibility

Postby ronseattle » Wed Dec 21, 2011 1:27 am

The Kindle Fire is a great Android table for a very reasonable cost. However, the current Eye-Fi app for Android is not compatible with the Kindle Fire due to the Kindle Fire's lack of features such as GPS. My primary desire is to use the Kindle Fire as a mobile viewing device for photos during a shoot. GPS and similar phone features are of minimal importance under these circumstances. Therefore, if functionality is not available on an Android device, then the Eye-Fi app should simply not make its related features available instead of being completely incompatible and unavailable for the device. Please let Eye-Fi know that you want Kindle Fire compatibility!

There is currently something wrong with the amazon market in this regard. We don't require anything except wifi. We are waiting to hear from them.

Amazon has marked the app appropriately so you may download the app from the Fire.
