I got a new iPad2 with iOS5 on it for x-Mas. =)
Today I was trying to connect my Eye-Fi X2 card with my Canon 60D and my new iPad.
I did everything as described but therer where some strange issuse:
1. The first time connecting was allmost perfekt. I wanted to try to connect cam and Ipad over the direct mode in the car. So I configurated the card at my Notebook before I went, put it in my cam and configurated the iPad with the app.
The cam tried to submit some Videos i took before and I saw a message on the iPad that those vids couldn't be shown because of the format. This is okay, I didn't expected that the iPad could do so.
I stoped the transmitting simply by turning off the Camera.
2. When I got back home I tried to connect again but I couldn't see the Wifi the card creates. Later I discoverd, that it doesn't show in the list, when you are connected to an active Wifi. I turned my Wifi off and connected the ipad to the cards Wifi, becouse I wanted to test the dircet mode.
3. When I then opened the Wifi-App, there was the following Error-Code: assetLibrarynoAccessMessageiOS5 and it said that I have no access to the objectlibrary. Now I couldn't see any picture in the app, but when i later after updating Eye-Fi Center on my Notebook and updating firmware of my eye-fi card tried to submit some pics from my cam to the ipad, at the bottom of the app it shows me the transmiting bar, but the picture still doesn't appear.
4. I than had a look at my picture on my ipad in the usual picture-App and there I could see my transmitted pictures.
Until now, nothing changed. After posting this I will try if something changes if I am connecting the devices over the lokal Wifi.
If something happens I will let you know.
I have no clue what that Error-Code means and if I have done something wrong.
If somebody have seen this message before please help me!
Thanks guys!
Conti
