cannot add youtube accout

I'm trying to set up a youtube account for video uploads.
It asks for permission to access to my youtube account, and the I get the error message saying that I have to select a category to which the video is uploaded.
However, after I authorize the eye-fi to access my youtube account, there is nothing that asks me about the category. The window disapperars. How can I select a category ?? has anyone experienced this before ??

I just went through the process of adding a YouTube account through the desktop version of Center, and had no issues. After clicking the button to allow Eye-Fi to access the account, I did not receive any message about selecting a category.

Could you provide a screenshot of the issue you're seeing on your machine?

Thank you for the reply. I put a screen shot of the error message and put it up on my flickr account. I wanted to put a link here, but this forum doesn't allow me to do so since I am a new user and I get the error saying that "this post looks too spamy for a new user. Please remove the off-site URL"

So, I am going to have to have you go to flickr and please type the following keyword into the search box on the right top corner of the page.

After I click on the "allow" button on youtube to grant the eye-fi to access my youtube account, the error message pops up. I do have already assigned flickr as a destination to upload my videos. I want to add youtube as a second destination, and I think eye-fi can upload the same images/videos to multiple websites, right ??

The exact error message I get is : "Error: Please select a category to upload the video"

It does appear that there is a problem when attempting to add a YouTube account through web center. I have notified our server team who is looking into the issue.

In the meantime, I would suggest trying to add your YouTube account through the Eye-Fi software installed on your computer, as this should allow you to add the account successfully. To do this:

1. Open the Eye-Fi Center program
2. Click the settings gear next to your Eye-Fi card
3. Go to the Videos > Online tab, and click the button to add a new sharing site
4. Select YouTube from the list and follow the prompts to authorize Eye-Fi access

Are you able to add the YouTube account through the desktop software?

P.S. - You can only setup an Eye-Fi card to upload to one online destination at a time. So your card will upload videos to Flickr OR YouTube automatically, but not both.

This issue has been resolved on the server side. You should now be able to add your YouTube account through web Center (http://center.eye.fi). Please let me know if you're still experiencing any issues, and thanks for reporting.

Eye-Fi desktop software consists of two parts: a small application (Eye-Fi Helper) that runs on your computer and a graphic interface application (Eye-Fi Center) that runs independently of a web browser or internet connection.
