Accidently said not to geotag pictures

Postby mlynnerup » Sat Mar 17, 2012 1:02 pm

When I was transferring my pictures to my computer using Direct Mode, Eye-Fi center asked me whether or not to wait for an internet connection, to geotag my photos.

I misunderstood the question and all my pictures was transferred without being geotagged.

I really need the geotags for these pictures. Is there anyway re-tag the photos or maybe re-send them to my PC?

Thanks in advance!

Once an Eye-Fi card uploads photos, it will no longer attempt to upload these same files again. Since photos being geotagged is predicated upon transferring the files wirelessly, there will be no way to automatically add the geotagging information to these photos.

If you know where the photos were taken, a quick search should give you many programs that can add geolocation information to photos manually. Note that geolocation information that is added manually will not appear in Eye-Fi Center.
