help! My iphone isn't recognizing eye-fi card network

I'm still in the set up process I guess, my eye-fi center said to go to my iphone settings and select the eye-fi card network (after I put the card in my camera and started taking photos) and the photos would start uploading to my phone/app in a few minutes.

My phone is not recognizing the wi-fi form the eye-fi card. And I'm getting really frustrated. Is there something I'm missing. Did I skip a step? I'm just not sure.

My phone is showing up on the eye-fir center, and I was able to send photos already on my phone to the computer, but I can't get the photos I'm taking on my camera to transfer to the phone/app.

My camera is a canon rebel t3i if that's important. and my phone is the iphone 4s.

EDIT:: when I put the eye-fir card read&card back into my pc, my phone then recognizes the eye-fi networkm and adds the photos.
If this is the only way these photos are going to transfer, I'm sending the card back. I want to be able to be AWAY from my computer, and wi-fi, and take pictures, and have them be uploaded to my phone, without needing the PC.

The T3i is one of Canon's cameras with some Eye-Fi settings built-in, and they usually disable Eye-Fi uploads by default, so you have to turn them on.
