Underwater

I will be filming underwater and then bringing the camera up. What happens to the transfer of video to the iPad whist underwater?
I will be placing the GoPro underwater frequently for 5-8 sec at a time.
Will it continue to transmit once above water? I know wifi wont work underwater.

Hi,

well, every time my eyefi card comes in Range it begans to transmit the data. if its out of range it will stop. That will be the same here.

But can you tell me.....if a video is being transmitted and that transmission is interrupted by putting the camera under water again, what happens when the camera surfaces again?
Will it start the whole video transmission again from the start? Or will it start from where it was interrupted?
