2048px upload option for Picasa

Postby nokhook » Sun Apr 15, 2012 10:24 am

now Picasa offer unlimited storage to image upto 2048px (it will count toward 1GB free storage if image size over 2048px)

and i would like to preserve a free 1GB storage for some important images only

so it will great if i can set option for upload to 2048px and upload unlimited everyday life images, and still have free space left for important images (resolution higher than 2048px)

Definitely a +1 for this!! I may not share very much on Google+, but I love that I essentially get unlimited storage on Picasa as a result! Please add a 2048 option so that I can upload at the highest possible resolution!

Thanks!

Please could we have 2048px option for uploading to Picasa. :D
This is to avoid eating into my free storage space on google and getting the max resolution possible.
Many thanks....

Bump... surely there are more than just 3 people using Picasa and/or Google+ that would love to have higher resolution pictures uploaded from their Eye-Fi cards!

Tired of waiting for them to pull their finger out and just make an effort to keep upto date.
Don't now use the card for the uploading anymore, instead place the pictures on my iPad then get the Picasa app to do the 2048 upload for me.
Poor support by Eye-Fi, they will loose out anyway as cameras are starting to come through with WiFi Picasa uploading abilities.
Bye bye Eye-Fi....

You still have a chance to win me back, just feel stupid recommending your product to friends in the past. :(

Bump again!

Yep, I'm another Eye-Fi user who would love to have 2048px resizing for Picasa rather than 1600px.

I thought that Eye-Fi would have this sorted by now. Surely it's a trivial software change?!

I would really like this as well. I have used EyeFi with picasaweb and google+ for a long time now and would love to store my images as high quality as possible but within the limitations Google states will not use quota. Thank you.
