Explore Video Card - Free Year Hotspots?

Hello!

I purchased an Eye-Fi Explore Video card for somone as a Christmas gift. It was noted to come with a free year of hotspot access. Upon registration, Geotagging is enabled, but HotSpots was not. In attempting to add the service, it still asks for a code.

How do I enable the free year of hotspots? Thanks!

Where did you purchase the card from? So on the settings page under wireless networks it's showing learn about/upgrade to hotspot access? The free year is automatically activate you shouldn't have to do anything to use it except enable Hotspot access.

The card was purchased online from Eye-Fi directly.

I'll have to check again, but when I had set it up for my Father ... it was like my Share Video card... I clicked the HotSpot section and it wanted a code. I purchased another for my Sister, so I'll have to ask her what hers says as well.

Normally though you're saying it should just say 'Enabled', yes? No requirement to put in an activation code?

Yeah, it should not ask for a code, please email us at support@eye.fi and include the order number from us, if you can easily find it, so we can find out what is going on and get this taken care of for you.
