iPhoto Import - Event Naming Convention

I recently switched the Eye-Fi destination on my home computer to iPhoto and wonder if anyone has had any luck changing the default Event-naming-convention for when Eye-Fi photos get imported.

Whenever my iPhoto imports new Eye-Fi images it create a new Event (e.g. one for each day) and labels it as a multi-word date (e.g. "May 15, 2010"). I would prefer something simpler (e.g. "2010-05-15") to ease sorting but haven't been able to figure out how to change this behavior (other than manually every time I import, which gets tedious). Anyone face this challenge of figure out a solution?
