Temp turn off Webshare

Postby einstein999 on Thu Aug 07, 2008 10:01 am

I like to mess around with my camera, and I don't want the photos uploaded to Flickr ALL the time. Would like to have a way not to have to re-setup flickr each time I turn the service off and on. I don't think there is a way, but thought I would ask. (the turn off feature is really a delete account link)

Einsten,

You don't need to delete/remove your flickr account from your Eye-Fi Manager account to not upload to flickr. You can simply disable uploading to the Web by clicking on the "Do not share photos online" radio button. When you want to go back to uploading to your flick account, click on the "share photos online" radio button and your Flickr info should still be there.

Is that what you were looking for?

Thanks,

Jeremiah

Wouldn't it be simpler just to switch SD cards in the camera to one other than your Eye-Fi card ? I carry a 2GB Kingston card with me just for that purpose, if away from my computer.

What do you mean is doesn't work as described? At which point were you having trouble?

Your internet connection acting up sounds like a separate issue. What error were you getting?
